Title: Software Development Engineer
Location: Boston, MA

Job Description:
Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced software development engineer to develop and support our leading InfiniBand products. The ideal candidate will be dealing with state-of-the-art networking technologies and should have strong experience in an embedded environment writing and maintaining network-oriented device drivers in an RTOS environment. A background in 32-bit x86 processors running in industry standard motherboards and PCIe is required. A strong understanding of distributed systems, including remote serialization and very fast IPC is also required, while an understanding of storage technology and techniques would be a plus.
Requirements
- B.S. Computer Science/Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in kernel development
- Experience tuning code to save micro-seconds
- Experience with InfiniBand RDMA on Mellanox HCAs
- Knowledge of high speed networking and storage protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers
Title: Sr. Field Application Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN; Austin, TX
Length: Full Time
Job Description:
Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced senior field application engineer to provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, enabling them to successfully develop and go to market with products that incorporate Mellanox devices. The senior FAE will work with internal technical support staff and engineering to resolve critical customer issues, and will submit, manage and close customer bug reports. Will also work with Mellanox sales team to introduce our technology into new accounts and grow the business in several diverse market areas.
Requirements
- B.S. Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Minimum of five years hardware design or hardware support experience
- Strong hardware design background, including the ability to comprehend complex designs, perform schematic and board layout design reviews, and understand/solve signal integrity issues
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle and resolve critical customer issues/problems resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
- Good verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work directly with customers

This individual will primarily work with engineering and external MPI groups, such as Ohio State University, Open MPI and commercial MPI providers to develop, modify and optimize MPI implementation for Mellanox based products.

- Knowledge of InfiniBand or other high speed interconnects
- Knowledge of Message Passing (MPI) protocol
- Knowledge and background on performance debugging and optimization of complex workloads

Mellanox Technologies is looking for an experienced system engineer to provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, enabling them to successfully evaluate and implement Mellanox technology in their enterprise data centers. This individual will work with internal technical support staff and engineering to resolve critical customer service issues, and will submit, manage and close customer problem reports. This individual will also work with the Mellanox Business Development Team to introduce our technology into new accounts and grow the business in several market segments.
Requirements
- B.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering or software engineering
- Minimum of five years experience in computer systems development or support experience in computing, storage or networking, technical disciplines, e.g., network development/support in an enterprise data center, information technology, software development or hardware architecture/design
- Strong software and server interconnect experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle and resolve critical customer issues/problems resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
- Good verbal communication and presentation skills
