Overview

ConnectX ENt 10Gig MAC + PHY combo delivers 10GBASE-T for high-bandwidth and industry-leading 10GigE connectivity with stateless offloads for performance-driven server and storage applications in High-Performance Computing, Enterprise Data Centers, Embedded and virtualized environments. ConnectX ENt integrates Teranetics’ 10GBASE-T PHY technology in a single package delivering a low-power 10GBASE-T LOM controller for mainstream server connectivity that leverages popular unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables. ConnectX ENt supports Cat5e and Cat6 UTP cables for distances up to 55m and Cat6A and Cat7 up to 100m. ConnectX ENt is designed for LAN- on-Motherboard (LOM) applications with an integrated PHY and does not require any additional components, thus saving power, costs and real-estate.
