Overview

ConnectX-2 ENt 10Gig MAC + PHY combo delivers 10GBASE-T for high-bandwidth and industry- leading 10GigE connectivity with stateless offloads for performance-driven server and storage applications in High-Performance Computing, Enterprise Data Centers, Embedded and virtualized environments. ConnectX-2 ENt integrates Teranetics’ 10GBASE-T PHY technology in a single package delivering a low-power 10GBASE-T LOM controller for mainstream server connectivity that leverages popular unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables. ConnectX-2 ENt supports Cat5e and Cat6 UTP cables for distances up to 55m and Cat6A and Cat7 up to 100m. ConnectX-2 ENt is designed for LAN- on-Motherboard (LOM) applications with an integrated PHY and does not require any additional components, thus saving power, costs and real-estate.
