MTS3600 36-port InfiniBand Switch Product Development Kit

Overview

The Mellanox MTS3600 InfiniBand Switch Product Development Platform is a 36-port switch capable of up to 2.88Tb/s of non-blocking switching capacity. The platform is designed to assist OEMs with their development of InfiniBand systems and for running benchmark tests on InfiniBand fabrics supporting up to 40Gb/s per node. Based on the fourth generation InfiniScale IV InfiniBand switch device, the platform delivers industry leading bandwidth, latency, and scalability. The platform can be tiered to build large fat-tree networks.

The platform is suitable for 19-inch rack mounting. The front of the system supports two redundant hot-swappable power supplies and a hot-swappable fan drawer. The fan assembly provides front to back air flow.

The MTS3600 provides an ideal platform for measuring performance of applications on high bandwidth, low latency networks. The switch interoperates seamlessly with Mellanox’s ConnectX IB HCAs for end to end 10, 20, and 40Gb/s InfiniBand connectivity.
