Mellanox LinkX certified cables are 100% tested to ensure optimal signal integrity and the best end-to-end performance.  Mellanox LinkX passive optical fiber hybrid cables are typically used to split 4-channel QSFP transceivers into either 2-channel dual QSFP or single-channel quad duplex LC optical connector ends. These assemblies are used to link quad-channel ports in switches to servers, storage and network appliances running using Mellanox network adapters.

For example, passive optical fiber hybrid cables can be use to split a 4-channel, 4x25G, QSFP28, 100G SR4 transceiver using MPO optical connectors into four independent links of single-channel, 1x25G, SFP28 SR transceivers using LC optical connectors. Similarly, the 100G SR4 can be split into 2-channels (2x25G) using two MPO optical connector for 50G each. As the fiber assemblies are passive, they are line rate independent and operate at 10G NRZ, 25G NRZ, 50G PAM4 and for InfiniBand and Ethernet protocols.

The DynamiX QSA is a QSFP-to-SFP port adapter that enables a single-channel SFP device to be inserted into a QSFP port. Available in 10G and 25G versions and support a wide array of devices 0.5m DACs to 10km SFP28 LR transceivers.
