400Gb/s OSFP (100G-PAM4 Modulation)
InfiniBand and Ethernet

800 gigabits per second (Gb/s) and 400Gb/s cables and transceivers are used for linking Quantum-2 InfiniBand and Spectrum-4 SN5600 Ethernet switches together and with ConnectX-7 network adapters, BlueField-3 DPUs, and NVIDIA DGX™ H100 GPU systems. The product line consists of direct-attach cables (DAC) reaching up to 3 meters (m), linear active copper cables from 3m to 5m, multimode optics to 50m, and single-mode optics to 100m, 500m, and 2 kilometers (km). Switches only use twin-port octal small form factor pluggable (OSFP) connectors. ConnectX-7 uses both OSFP and QSFP112, and BlueField-3 uses QSFP112 only.

400Gb/s QSFP-DD (50G-PAM4 Modulation) Ethernet only

400Gb/s cables and transceivers are used for linking Spectrum-4 SN5400 and Spectrum-3 SN4000 series Ethernet switches with ConnectX-6/7 network adapters and BlueField-2/3 DPUs. The product line consists of DAC cables reaching up to 2.5m, active optical cables from 3m to 100m, multimode optics up to 100m, and single-mode optics up to 500m, 2km, and 10km. Switches use quad small form factor double density (QSFP-DD) connectors, while ConnectX-6 and BlueField-2 use QSFP56 and QSFP28 connectors.

 

200Gb/s QSFP56 (50G-PAM4 Modulation) InfiniBand and Ethernet

200Gb/s cables and transceivers are used for linking Quantum InfiniBand and 200GbE Spectrum-2/3/4 Ethernet switches with ConnectX-6/7 network adapters, BlueField-2/3 DPUs, and DGX A100 GPU systems. The product line consists of DAC cables reaching up to 2.5m, active optical cables from 3m to 100m, multimode optics to 100m, and single-mode optics to 2km. Switches, ConnectX-6/7, and BlueField-2/3 use QSFP56 connectors.

100Gb/s QSFP28 (25G-NRZ Modulation) InfiniBand and Ethernet

25Gb/s and 100Gb/s cables and transceivers are used for linking Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) InfiniBand and 100GbE Spectrum-1/2/3/4 Ethernet switches with ConnectX-6/7 network adapters and BlueField-2/3 DPUs. The product line consists of DAC cables reaching up to 5m, active optical cables to 100m, multimode optics to 100m, and single-mode optics to 500m, 2km, 10km, and 40km. Switches, ConnectX-6/7, and BlueField-2/3 use QSFP28 and SFP28 connectors.

LinkX AOCs are the lowest cost optical interconnect. Fibers are bonded inside connectors act similar to DACs but up to 100 meters. Available at  25G-to-400G data rates. NVIDIA Networking LinkX has the longest history in the marketplace building AOCs and are widely used in HPCs, hyperscale and enterprise networking and in DGX artificial intelligence systems.  Designed and manufactured by LinkX – including several LinkX-designed Integrated circuits.

LinkX transceivers are designed and manufactured by LinkX -including designing many of the transceiver IC components inside. Offering multi- and single-mode transceivers from 1G-to-400G up to 40km reaches in both NRZ and 50G-PAM4 modulation. The same transceivers are used in our AOCs and splitters.

Accessories

The QSA is a QSFP-to-SFP port Adapter that enables a single-channel Ethernet SFP device to be inserted into a QSFP port. Available in 10G, 25G NRZ versions and 50G-PAM4 they support a wide array of devices 0.5m DACs to AOCs to 10km SFP56 LR transceivers. Very low-cost and consumes zero power and latency and supports 1GBASE-T up to 50G 10km transceivers. Also, available in Extended Temperature Ranges of -10C up to 85C for hot server applications.

Typically used within system racks linking top-of-rack switches to ConnectX HCAs.
